I was asked to design a banner for the Western Australian Local Government Association (WALGA) Banners
in the Terrace for City of Gosnells with members of ‘The Castle’ Youth Centre
Thornlie.
This project involved the
running of a series of workshops with a group aged 11 to 17 years. The
participants made individual pieces of collage artwork from ‘Post it’ notes
glitter and pens.
They also took photographs of each other. The resulting
artworks and photography were montaged digitally and the result was
printed for display on St Georges Terrace during the WALGA annual Conference
(August 2012).
